Craig joined Bancorp Treasury in 2007 and specialises in treasury governance, policy, health checks and IFRS. His role is to provide specialist treasury advice and market strategies to a diverse portfolio of clients, fostering strong long-term relationships as well as undertaking one-off project work. He has extensive experience developing and reviewing treasury operations and policies and has a clear view of the intricacies of IFRS 9 and hedge accounting.

Craig’s corporate treasury skills were honed in the UK, where he was treasurer for the Commonwealth Secretariat, an intergovernmental agency spanning the 53 countries of the Commonwealth. Craig also spent several years based in Canada, working in the finance team of North America’s largest construction materials provider.

Craig has a Bachelor of Management Studies from the University of Waikato and is a member of both the Finance and Treasury Association and INFINZ (Institute of Finance Professionals New Zealand).
