David joined Bancorp Treasury in 2021 and acts as a treasury advisor specialising in interest rate risk management, treasury management and bank funding.

Prior to joining Bancorp Treasury, David had in excess of 30 years at the ANZ Banking Group, where he worked as an Associate Director of Global Markets.

David’s capabilities include treasury policy, interest rate derivatives, fixed interest, cash management, foreign exchange, debt funding and treasury management.

His qualifications include an MBA from the University of Canterbury, a post-Graduate Diploma in Banking, a Batchelor of Commerce from the University of Otago and has achieved the NZ Certificate in Financial Services. Previously he has been a qualified Investment Analyst and he is currently a member of INFINZ (Institute of Finance Professionals New Zealand).
