Ken Ikeguchi is a Senior Relationship Manager at Bancorp Wealth Management, part of Bancorp, one of New Zealand’s leading independent investment banking groups.

With more than 20 years’ experience across Japan and New Zealand, Ken specialises in private banking, wealth management and cross-border investment solutions. He works closely with Japanese investors, families and high-net-worth individuals seeking New Zealand investment opportunities, including those pursuing residency through the Active Investor Plus (AIP) Visa programme.

Before joining Bancorp, Ken held senior banking and wealth management roles with Credit Suisse Life & Pension, Tokyo Star Bank and Lloyds TSB Bank in Japan. After relocating to New Zealand with his family in 2013, he further developed his local expertise within ANZ Bank’s Asian Banking team before joining Bancorp.

Fluent in both Japanese and English, Ken is passionate about strengthening the connection between Japan and New Zealand. He enjoys helping international clients understand the New Zealand market while building trusted, long-term relationships.

Outside of Bancorp, Ken serves as a Board Member of the Japanese Chamber of Commerce in Auckland (Nisui-kai), supporting business collaboration, cultural exchange and stronger commercial ties between the two countries.
