Over his twenty year career in treasury advisory, Miles has gained significant expertise in interbank and corporate money markets with a detailed understanding of the fixed interest markets. Miles has held senior positions in New Zealand merchant banks and banking groups and has broad experience on the use of interest rate synthetic (or derivative instruments).

In the interest rate advisory and consultancy areas, Miles acts for a wide range of borrowers and investors throughout New Zealand, with his main areas of focus being investment portfolio management in the utilities and local government sectors. Based in Bancorp’s Christchurch office, Miles also shares responsibility for client relationships throughout the South Island.
