Nick’s expertise lies in helping organisations to identify and manage financial risk and gain treasury and transactional banking efficiencies with the aim of improving treasury management and performance. Having gained corporate treasury experience in New Zealand and London, Nick joined Bancorp Treasury on his return to Auckland in 2008. His role is to provide tailored advice to a broad range of clients, fostering ongoing relationships as well as undertaking one-off project work.

Nick has extensive global and local transactional banking experience and he also specialises in developing policies and methods for proactively managing currency, interest rate and commodity price risks. He is also knowledgeable in the area of hedge accounting and derivative valuations.

Nick has a Bachelor of Commerce and Post Graduate Diploma in Finance from the University of Otago. While in the UK, Nick completed the Certificate of International Cash Management. He is part of the UK-based Association of Corporate Treasurers and is a member of the Finance and Treasury Association Limited.
